Amplify Alliance Australia and Marsh are pleased to announce Deafblind Victoria (DBV) as the recipient of the 2025 Marsh Community Grant, selected from more than 60 applicants across Australia.
Deafblind Victoria is a lived-experience–led organisation representing and supporting the Deafblind community in Victoria. Run by and for deafblind people, DBV delivers peer support, mentoring, training, outreach, and community programs designed to reduce isolation and strengthen independence.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with Marsh to recognise and uplift the vital work being delivered by our member organisations.
This year’s applications showcased extraordinary innovation across the Not-for-Profit sector, and we congratulate Deafblind Victoria for their impactful and inspiring initiative,” said Debra Cerasa, CEO of Amplify Alliance Australia.
The 2025 Marsh Community Grant will fund DBV’s ‘Deafblind Wellbeing Program’ – a program addresses critical gaps in health knowledge caused by lifelong barriers to communication and accessible services for deafblind people.
Through a series of accessible workshops focused on healthy eating, simple food preparation, mindful movement, and adaptive physical activity participants are equipped with practical skills to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
“Deafblind Victoria’s program demonstrates the power of lived experience in designing meaningful, inclusive community initiatives.
We congratulate DBV on the impact this grant will help them achieve,” said Debra Cerasa, CEO of Amplify Alliance Australia.
Amplify Alliance Australia and Marsh thank all applicants for their outstanding submissions and their dedication to improving the wellbeing of communities across Australia.
The Marsh Community Grant reflects Amplify Alliance Australia and Marsh’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the impact of Australia’s Not-for-Profit sector and contributing to meaningful community outcomes. Applications for the next Marsh Community Grant will open in mid-2026.
