Policy Statement
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) is committed to providing exceptional service and benefits to our valued Members. This document outlines the Terms and Conditions governing the membership program. By becoming a Member, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions, as well as any future amendments which may occur.
Purpose
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to clearly define the rights, responsibilities, and benefits associated with being a Member of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia). This document serves as a legal agreement between Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) and the individual Member, outlining what is expected from both parties to ensure a beneficial and compliant relationship. We encourage all prospective and current Members to read these Terms and Conditions carefully to fully understand the scope and limitations of the membership.
Scope
Applicable to all levels of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) membership
Member Eligibility
Any Not for Profit organisation (however incorporated) which is engaged in the delivery of programs and services to assist unemployed and/or socially disadvantaged people may apply for membership of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
There are 2 categories of membership, namely, Full Member and Associate Member. In these Terms and Conditions (Terms), Member means an organisation registered in the records of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) as a Member, whether a Full Member or an Associate Member.
Each Member agrees to comply with the rules set out in the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Constitution, including paying the guarantee under clause 1.4 of the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Constitution, if required.
Guarantee
Each Member must contribute an amount not more than $50 to the property of the Company if the Company is wound up while the Member is a Member, or within 12 months after they stop being a Member, and this contribution is required to pay for the:
debts and liabilities of the Company incurred before the Member stopped being a Member; or
costs of winding up.
Full Member Eligibility
A Full Member must always be a Not for Profit organisation (however incorporated) which is engaged in the delivery of programs and services to assist unemployed people and/or socially disadvantaged people.
Associate Member Eligibility
An Associate Member must always be a Not for Profit organisation (however incorporated) that purchases professional subscription services provided by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia). Each Associate Member hereby agrees that it supports and will, for so long as it remains an Associate Member, continue to actively support the stated objects of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Applying for Membership
Membership applications must be submitted to and assessed by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Membership applications can be assessed by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) employees in the first instance and approved or rejected by appropriate delegates of the Board.
If a membership application is approved, subject to invoicing and processing being completed, Members will commence receiving services from Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Purchase of Membership
If the applicant is successful in its membership application, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will, with as little delay as possible, notify the applicant in writing that membership is approved. A membership package will be sent by digital delivery to the applicant’s selected email account. Membership packages should be received within 3 business days of processing by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) has the right to not accept a membership application in its absolute discretion.
Along with membership offerings, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) also offers a host of professional business services from experienced individuals as an add-on product offering (fee for service) (Business Services).
Membership Fee
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) membership fees are set by the Board.
Membership fees are to be paid in full at the commencement of each financial year or, if determined by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) in its sole discretion, in monthly instalments over the course of the financial year.
Members must pay for the full year of membership, regardless of when they join during the financial year, subject to any pro rata adjustment determined by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) in its sole discretion.
Privacy
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will only use and disclose personal information it collects for its
original purpose that is disclosed at the time of collection and subject to a Member ‘opting out’, for the purpose of direct marketing. Each Member consents to the use or disclose of their personal information for these purposes. However, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may disclose personal information it holds where there is a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where a lawful duty of care to disclose information exists. Where this is the case, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will notify the Member as to whom the information was given and what information was given.
Terms of Membership
Subject to these Terms, including payment of fees, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) membership benefits will be available to Members from 1 July each financial year.
When amendments are made to these Terms that require legal consent or approval, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will ask its Members for consent or approval. Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) has the right to terminate the membership of Members who do not provide their consent or approval to the amended Terms. Members may terminate their membership agreement if they no longer wish to be tied to the amended Terms.
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) has the right, without prior notification to individual Members, to change these Terms. All changes will be published on its website and will become effective 14 days after publication, unless otherwise stipulated. Members should ensure that they inform themselves about any changes to these Terms.
Full Members have access to all relevant Member services delivered by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) as set out in the membership brochure from time to time. Associate Members have the right to receive such information about the activities of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) as the Board may determine (in its absolute discretion) from time to time. An Associate Member shall not be entitled to:
- Receive notices of meetings of Members of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
- Vote at meetings of Members of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
- Nominate candidates for election to the Board of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
- Vote at elections in respect of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Each Full Member shall appoint in writing a ‘Representative’ (that person alone shall be able) to act and exercise the Full Member’s membership rights and vote at the meetings of Members of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) (see the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Constitution for further information).
- Each Member shall appoint a natural person to act as the ‘Company Administrator’ responsible for the membership. All communication around an organisation’s membership will be directed to this person.
- It is the Member’s responsibility to keep all contact’s current.
- Membership is not transferable.
Misuse of Membership
In the event of misuse of the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) membership, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) has the right to exclude the Member(s) in question from the membership program. Such misuse may include, but is not limited to, behaviour which is troublesome or shows a lack of respect towards staff, partners or suppliers, criminal actions or actions that are generally regarded to be immoral, unethical or contrary to these Terms.
Members must not give non-Members access to their membership or circulate Member- only content, publications or resources etc.
Fair Use
Access by Members to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Business Services is governed by ‘fair usage’ terms.
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may restrict access to Business Services if it deems that a Member service is unreasonable if its Business Services are used in a way that is contrary to the way we intended them to be used, or unacceptable.
Termination of Membership
Subject to the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Constitution and Rules, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may:
expel a Member from Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia);
suspend a Member from membership of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) for a specified period;
if Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) is of the opinion that the Member has refused or neglected to comply with the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Constitution; or has been guilty of conduct unbecoming a Member or prejudicial to the interest of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
Notice of termination, suspension or disciplinary action will be sent by pre-paid post to the Representative.
Discontinuance of Membership
Should Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) need to discontinue one or all memberships due to conditions pertaining to legislation, a court decision or a prohibition by public authorities, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will not be held responsible for any losses to the individual Member that may ensue from this discontinuation. Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will, as far as possible, attempt to inform individual Members as soon as possible if the circumstances described above should arise.
Membership Payments
Access to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia)’s services is dependent on a membership being financial. If membership is not paid within the renewal period, then service will not be provided until any outstanding monies have been retrieved.
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will send no more than 3 renewal notifications throughout the renewal period.
Members will have 30 days to pay their renewal invoice, from the ‘pay by’ date.
Should membership not be paid within 30 days, membership will automatically be suspended by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) and access to all services will cease immediately. Access to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia)’s services will only recommence once membership is re- established as financial, and any outstanding monies have been retrieved.
Feedback
Member feedback is important in helping Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) provide a high level of service. If Members have any comments or questions about Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) and the Business Services available, they should contact Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) at Companyinfo@amplifyalliance.org.au.
Cancellation of Membership
A Member who has paid all monies due and payable by it to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) can cancel their membership by giving notice in writing to the Secretary of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) such resignation.
Cancellation is to be made by a Member’s Company Administrator/CEO or equivalent, or its Representative.
Refunds and credits
Membership fees will not be refunded once paid. Each Member agrees that Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will retain membership fees paid if their membership is terminated in any circumstances.
For events cancelled in consequence of an Uncontrollable Event, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may at its discretion provide a Member with:
- a refund to the original payment method; or
- credit the Member can redeem on future events, less any reasonable expenses incurred by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
“Uncontrollable Event” means any event or circumstance that is not within reasonable control of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia), cannot be reasonably prevented or circumvented by taking reasonable precautions and causes delays, or prevents Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) from performing its obligations to Members including, without limitation:
- Epidemics, Pandemics or other events placing restrictions on daily operations;
- war; or
- any act of God, flood, bush fire, drought, earthquake, landslide, storm, lightning strike, cyclone or other natural disaster.
As soon as practicable after it learns of an Uncontrollable Event necessitating the cancellation or re-scheduling of an event, Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will use best endeavours to notify Members accordingly.
A Member will not be given a refund if it changes its mind about attending an event.

Glossary of Terms/Definitions
Member: A business who has successfully completed the registration process and whose membership is currently active.
Company: Refers to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia), the entity offering and administrating the membership program.
Membership Fee: The annual financial payment made by the Member to maintain active membership status.
Benefits: Privileges or advantages that are granted exclusively to Members, such as discounts, access to events, or publications, products and services.
Renewal: The process of extending membership for another term, usually involving the payment of an additional membership fee.
Cancellation: The act of terminating a membership before its natural expiry.
Amendments: Changes or modifications made to these Terms & Conditions.
Exceptional Circumstances: Unforeseen events or situations, defined at the discretion of the Company, that may warrant a deviation from standard policies such as refunds or cancellations.
Activities: Refers to any events, workshops, webinars, or any other functions organised by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia), either online or offline.

By booking a paid or free Jobs Australia event, you agree to adhere to these Terms and Conditions, as well as any future amendments which may occur.

This document serves as a legal agreement between Jobs Australia Limited and the individual booking and attending any Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) events, outlining what is expected from both parties to ensure a beneficial and compliant relationship. We encourage all prospective Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) event attendees to read these Terms and Conditions carefully to fully understand the scope and limitations.

Applicable to all Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) events.
Event Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern the purchase of tickets for, and attendance at any event held by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) (Event/s).
It is the prospective attendee’s responsibility to review Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia)’s general Terms and Conditions prior to the purchase of tickets. By purchasing tickets, the attendee agrees to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and will provide the most recent version on our website.
Throughout this document, the Terms “Amplify Alliance Australia”, “Previously Jobs Australia”, “we,” “us” and “our” refers to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia), and “you” refers to the individual or business purchasing tickets or attending events.
Event Booking and Ticket Purchase
- A list of upcoming events, and ticket prices are available on the Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) website.
- All prices are AUD, in addition to the ticket price, you must pay GST, any booking, handling, credit card surcharge or postage fees specified on the website.
- Ticket prices are subject to change. Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will use its best endeavors to provide timely updates to attendees of any changes.
- Ticket purchases for events are made via Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia)’s event portal through iMIS.
- Full payment must be received at least 5 working days prior to the event unless other arrangements have been agreed with Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia). If full payment is not received the booking will be cancelled without notice.
- Booking confirmation and tax invoices will be available by logging into Jobs Australia’s online portal.
- Entrance to the event will be via the virtual link provided upon checkout for online events. If the event is in person entry will be based on providing identification or the confirmation of registration. No hard copy or electronic ticket will be issued.
Refunds, Credits and Transfers
The following cancellation policy will apply to all events and professional development training sessions, except in the case of a cancelled or rescheduled event (See section 5).
- Minimum 5 working days’ notice – Full refund
- Less than 5 working days’ notice – Cancellation charge of 25% applies
- Less than 2 working days’ notice – Full cost is payable
You are not entitled to a refund if:
- You did not enjoy the event
- You are no longer able to attend the event
- You arrive late or are refused entry for any reason
A ticket or table booking is transferrable to another person on the following conditions:
- A request is submitted in writing to info@amplifyalliance.org.au containing the replacement guest name and email address.
- The request is submitted at least 24 hours prior to the event.
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) reserves the right to refuse entry if a replacement attendee arrives at the event without the ticket being transferred via this procedure.
Event Conduct
- Attendees are expected to behave in a professional and appropriate manner at all events.
- Attendees need to comply with the rules of conduct, in particular with health, safety and accident prevention regulations when attending in person events and follow any reasonable instructions of the instructor.
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) reserves the right to refuse admission to any attendee and to request that the attendee be removed from the event and/or event facilities at any time if is the opinion of Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia), the attendee is (i) unfit or unsuitable for any reason to attend the event, or (ii) the behavior of the attendee is in any way dangerous, offensive or would otherwise impede the proper delivery of the event.
- Attendees are required to refrain from making video and/or audio recordings and from taking pictures during events unless written permission is obtained from Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may at times film and photograph events. Attendees consent to being filmed or photographed by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) (or its representatives) and Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) using attendees’ names, likeness, image and/or voice in such photographs or films for the purpose of promoting our events, services and products. No remuneration is payable for such use. Attendees that do not consent to this need to inform Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) in writing via email to Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) info@amplifyalliance.org.au before the event.
- When registering for an event by selecting “Do you agree for your details to be included in the delegate list”, you agree to share your name and affiliation with other attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors. This will enhance networking opportunities and allow for a more connected experience at the event.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) reserves the right to cancel an event or re-schedule an event date at any time and for any reason. Jobs Australia shall endeavor to inform attendees as soon as possible of the cancellation or rescheduling, and in the case of rescheduling, to offer a new event date reasonably convenient for attendees or a credit for the ticket price to put towards another event.
- In the case of cancellation, Jobs Australia shall refund the ticket price without undue delay. Such refund will be the only remedy available in the case of cancellation by Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia).
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) will use reasonable endeavors to notify ticket holders of a cancellation, variation or postponement via email to ticket holders and putting a notice on our website.
Changes to the Courses and Trainers
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) reserves the right to make changes to the content and change the instructor(s).
- In the case of the conference Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) reserves the right to make changes to the speaker(s).
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) may further develop or update the content of the courses without prior announcement.
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) shall be entitled to subcontract the whole or any part of its training obligations to any third party which it may in its absolute discretion determine, but any subcontract shall not relieve Jobs Australia of its obligations for the set training.
- Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) agrees to supply the training to ticket holders in accordance with all material respects of the promoted training event. The obligations of Jobs Australia shall be limited to the delivery of the event in the agreed format, where applicable at the agreed event premises and the delivery of the relevant training materials.
Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions and warranties relating to your purchase of tickets for and attendance at events.
- Where our liability cannot be excluded, such as in relation to Consumer Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or other prescribed Terms under legislation, our liability for breach is limited to the face value of the ticket purchased by you, plus any relevant booking and delivery fees.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution - These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria. Each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts having jurisdiction to hear appeals from those courts.
Miscellaneous. - If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, all or part of that provision will be severed from the Terms and will not affect the enforceability of the remaining provisions of the Terms.
- No waiver of any Term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such Term or any other Term.
- Any failure to assert any right under the Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Jobs Australia and the ticket holder in relation to the events.
Privacy and Data Protection
Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) processes and stores Members, Customer’s and attendees’ personal data in accordance with Amplify Alliance Australia (previously Jobs Australia) Privacy Policy.
