On 22 May, Blacktown Women and Girls Health Centre EO Jahn Leach warmly welcomed Margaret Balsillie and David Prior from Amplify Alliance’s Workplace Relations team for two days of tailored support and training.
Margaret and David collaborated closely with the dedicated Blacktown team to deliver a comprehensive overview of recent industrial relations reforms and facilitate leadership training focused on building organisational confidence, capability, and compliance. It was a privilege to work alongside such a passionate group of professionals deeply committed to creating meaningful change in their community.
As part of the visit, participants also contributed to a powerful collaborative artwork titled “Two Mobs Yarning”, a vibrant expression of unity and cultural safety. The piece symbolises coming together to share stories, knowledge, food, and celebrate culture in a space where all can feel safe and heard. Each person made their mark on the day, helping to create these two beautiful artworks.
