From the deck of STS Leeuwin II, Australia’s largest sail-training tall ship, young people are supported to develop teamwork, resilience and practical life skills that stay with them well beyond the voyage. This hands-on approach to learning creates space for growth, reflection and leadership, particularly for those who benefit most from structured, real-world experiences.
Alongside delivering programs, Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation manages the same workforce and compliance and governance responsibilities faced by many Not for Profits. The organisation became a Member to access specialist workplace relations support and ensure clarity, suitability and compliance of its employment contracts.
This support proved especially valuable during a period of significant change, as Leeuwin focused on rebuilding a stable, sustainable and future ready foundation.
Through membership, Leeuwin has received timely, practical advice that has strengthened confidence in employment decisions and reduced the uncertainty that comes with navigating workplace relations.
“Being part of the Amplify Alliance community gives us trusted support and confidence during complex periods, helping us make sound workplace decisions while focusing on rebuilding a sustainable future,” shares Leeuwin’s CEO, Lawson.
It’s this trusted, sector-experienced support that has allowed the Leeuwin team to focus their energy where it matters most—supporting young people and strengthening organisational resilience.
We’re proud to sail alongside Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation as part of a national community of Not for Profits supporting one another to navigate challenges and build strong futures.
